Booking
Submitting an enquiry does not create a booking. A booking becomes binding when we have confirmed the dates, price and conditions in writing and the required payment has been received.
The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for all accompanying guests.
Price and payment
The confirmed price and included services will be stated in the booking confirmation.
The minimum stay is five nights. Published accommodation prices include final cleaning, bed linen and towels.
Tourist tax is charged separately at the applicable Grindelwald rate unless the booking confirmation says it is included.
- A 30% deposit is due within 7 days of confirmation.
- The remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival.
- For bookings made less than 30 days before arrival, the full amount is due at confirmation.
Cancellation by the guest
Cancellations must be sent in writing. We recommend that guests arrange suitable travel-cancellation insurance.
If we are able to re-let the apartment, the recovered amount will be deducted from the cancellation charge.
- 30 or more days before arrival: 30% of the booking price.
- 8–29 days before arrival: 75% of the booking price.
- 7 days or fewer before arrival, early departure or no-show: 100% of the booking price.
Arrival and departure
Check-in and check-out times will be stated in the booking confirmation. Early arrival or late departure requires prior agreement.
